August 15th 6:30-8:30pm
Join us at our lovely stockist: Golden Mean's beautiful boutique for an evening workshop
This workshop is a beginner friendly exploration into the world of natural dyes- we'll teach you one of our favorite dye techniques: Ice-Dyeing (similar results to tie-dye but more of a watercolor or fractal aesthetic.) You'll utilize some raw and some extracted liquid dyes made from all natural sources like roots, barks, flowers and even bugs to create a one of a kind piece.
In the timeframe you'll learn the basics and leave with a beautiful wearable/functional art piece- a 21x21" silk square that can be worn as a bandana/head scarf or displayed as art.
Very limited seats`-reserve yours ahead of time. Please arrive 5-10 min early if possible
Sips provided (N/A and alcoholic options) and you're welcome to bring a snack if needed-there are also a few food trucks directly next door.
We recommend dressing in something you wouldn't mind *possibly* staining or an apron
